And... it's not the perfect dad joke, but I'm very proud of one I made up recently, so I thought I'd share:
My 12-year-old wanted a "derpy duck" theme for her birthday and made her own cake and decorations (they grow up so fast!)—yes, I had to look up "derpy..."
I made her a birthday card based on the duck shape for her cake. Inside, in addition to the heartfelt message, I also drew an arrow towards the duck and wrote:
"This duck is a comedian. He loves quacking jokes." 😂
If I knew how/if I could add a picture of the card here, I would lol
