Yet...

God is still working in you, even if you can’t quite see it…yet.

Unto us a Child is born.
Light the candles. Cue Silent Night.
Everyone heads home happy.

But then…Crickets.
From nativity to puberty…
The story of Jesus goes silent for 12 years.

Everything has changed,
But nothing looks different…yet.

It’s kind of like this week between Christmas and the New Year.
The high of the holidays followed by that quiet letdown after advent.

It’s okay if you feel unsettled in the in between.
It’s normal to be frustrated when you’ve changed but no one else can see the difference…yet.

Even the shepherds had to go back to their fields, and Mary and Joe had to go raise a toddler.

So, hang in there.
It’s alright if things take a little time.
God is still working in you,
