Call me crazy, but I think "Support Local" should actually mean… supporting your LOCAL community
Call me crazy, but I think “Support Local” should actually mean… supporting your LOCAL community.
Sure, that means hitting up the locally owned restaurants and shopping at the mom-and-pop store instead of the big-box chain. It’s about backing the small businesses that show up for our community—the ones who live, work, and play here. They are the ones sponsoring little league teams, hiring our neighbors, and making this place feel like home.
But supporting local isn’t just about choosing the neighborhood coffee shop over the new Starbucks in town.
Get this: advertising agencies are small local businesses, too. I watch my boss and our team of Tri-State natives pour so much value into this community. We live, work, and play here. And most of all, we’re really good at what we do.
And you know what? We’re not alone. West Virginia is packed with incredible creative professionals. Some of our competitors run full-service agencies like us, while others specialize in video production, digital marketing, or branding and some are very very good (but, let’s be real—biased or not, the best are at Bullseye 😉).
We all talk about supporting local. This includes the service industries. Choose the local contractor over the big-box hardware store. Choose the locally owned service provider over the national chain. Eat at the local pizza place over the big brand. And when it comes to advertising, choose a team that lives, works, and plays here, too.
With love, your friendly neighborhood advertising agency
TL;DR: Businesses like advertising agencies are local small businesses, too. Let’s support them.
