I spent the evening yesterday doing photography at the Final Showcase for Marshall’s iCenter gBETA cohort program.

I found the business plans and pitches to be fascinating. Both because they were all great ideas, and because you could really tell there’s a whole lot of intelligence and creativity behind these projects

I especially appreciated getting to learn more about Stitch AI from the one and only Joshua Spence…a fellow member of the 2025 Leadership West Virginia Class. He and his business partner are developing a really intriguing piece of software that I think is going to be a huge hit.

Now, I’m not going to pretend like I knew all the words that were being said. 😂 And I have no clue if any of the products pitched last night will actually succeed (or get funded I guess?). But it’s always inspiring to hear brilliantly passionate people talk about their ideas.

I have great respect for the work those people have put in, the effort they’ve poured out, and the risks they take for their projects.
