Just a quick reminder this beautiful morning with item đź“™ 4 of my fun little office tour.
I don’t know much about “regular people” jobs, but I figure it’s similar to the creative field. Every skill I have comes from once struggling through a new problem.
When you’re inexperienced, you’re constantly coming up against issues you’ve never seen before. It slows you down. It gets frustrating. It makes you question yourself.
It’s maddening really. But that’s a good thing.
Because every time you struggle through a problem, you’re able to add that new thing to your tool belt. Yeah, sometimes it might take you a few times before you “get it.” And experience often comes with more efficient way of doing things.
But problems aren’t necessarily a bad thing. You can’t grow without at least a little bit of tension.
You learn through solving problems. And, for the most part, every problem you come across is figureoutable.
If you’re struggling through problems at work right now, keep fighting. Eventually you’ll figure it out. And maybe you’ll grow a little bit in the process.
