What makes you stop scrolling? What do you look for on a website? What convinces you to share your email? What videos do you actually enjoy watching? What compels you to try something new?
We can talk personas, target markets, funnels and analytics all day long. And we probably should. But the vast majority of small businesses don’t need to over complicate things.
Marketing is communication. At its core, it’s a conversation.
On the other side of every design, website, post, or email that I push out, there’s a real life human being, with the same dang broken attention span I have.
So it’s worth asking the question…. If I were them, what would I actually want to talk about?
